The Value I Bring to Clients Goes Beyond Investing

I partner with clients across generations and to help make their money meaningful to them. My goal is to help clients maximize their wealth transfer, endow causes that are dear to them and communicate their values to the next generation.

What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?

I’ve been with Bernstein since 2012 because the firm continues to be an incredible place to work and build my career. The number one reason I’ve stayed here for so long is that I’ve never had to compromise my values to achieve the best results for my clients. From a structural standpoint, our business is set up to align our own interests with those of our clients. Furthermore, Bernstein’s specific focus on investment research and management eliminates the conflicts of interest that are pervasive within the finance industry. This level of integrity is important to me because I can sleep well at night knowing that everything we do here is ethical. At the end of the day, it is the incredible people who work at Bernstein that make my job as amazing as it is. I am impressed by everyone at the firm on a daily basis. While I do have an innate drive myself, my colleagues push me to be even better at my job because of the example they all set.

What differentiates you from other advisors?

My ten-plus-year career as an advisor to private clients has exposed me to hundreds of unique client situations and transactions. Tackling such a diverse array of experiences has given me the ability to advise clients no matter how unusual their circumstances. I have a multidimensional perspective that I tap into to provide thoughtful advice tailored to the situation at hand. My biggest strength is my ability to actively listen to a client’s situation, effectively diagnose the issues they are currently facing and decide which of Bernstein’s best-in-class tools I should use to develop a solution. As a highly practical and efficient person who cares for clients’ assets with the same reverence as my own, I am honored that they trust me. I take that responsibility very seriously.

Which personal accomplishment makes you proudest?

I am most proud of being a successful working mom. I love my career and I love my daughter. It's so exciting that she is growing up in a time when she can witness the full potential of what women can accomplish. I work hard at my job for my clients, my family and, last but not least, to be considered a role model for other women. My hope is that we can continue to acquire an increasingly diverse workforce in finance.
