What inspired you to join Bernstein?
I’ve spent my career acting in a fiduciary capacity and ensuring that every decision is made in my client’s best interest. This is also Bernstein’s approach, which made it easy to join the Bernstein community. As an advisor, I help clients articulate and achieve their goals. By collaborating closely, I ensure that my clients understand and are comfortable with how they are invested.
How have your values and personal background uniquely positioned you to work with your clients?
Those closest to me refer to me as an “Italian Grandma.” I actively build and foster a sense of community whether it is with friends, family, or my Bernstein colleagues. I listen openly and empathetically, which are the skills that are critical to being an effective advisor. I also bring warmth and consideration to the trusting relationships I build with my clients and colleagues across generations.
What passions do you pursue outside of work?
Fostering community is at the heart of who I am. My greatest joy is filling my home with people who eat and laugh. Every month I lead a crew at Ravenswood Community Services in preparing a nutritious dinner for 300 people who might otherwise go hungry. My husband and I began fostering dogs at the beginning of the pandemic and we love opening our home to those that would otherwise be left behind. I spend much of my life traveling and learning. My community is both small and large, interconnected and full of compassion.
