What inspired you to join Bernstein?

The people. I have never been surrounded by more knowledgeable, talented and experienced people than at Bernstein. Each and every person makes first-class service the norm when it comes to our clients. I quite honestly am honored to be among my teammates. I trust them implicitly, which is why I often rely on them to help my clients find optimum outcomes for their specific situations. What is the most fulfilling aspect of being an advisor to your clients?

Helping my clients feel calm and confident about their wealth strategy is definitely the best part of my job. Let’s be honest with ourselves—thinking about what to do with your money can bring on a boatload of anxiety. However, that feeling is completely normal. There are so many options, products, services and companies that exist, which is overwhelming in and of itself. That, combined with economic fluctuations, global events and individual family dynamics makes coming up with a coherent wealth strategy daunting. Fortunate for clients, Bernstein thrives when faced with a spiderweb of complexities. With 50-plus years of research excellence behind us and experts at every turn, we are adept at creating individual strategies that protect and grow clients’ wealth—even through the most fierce of storms. When I see my clients take a deep, relaxing breath knowing that their finances are taken care of, I know that I have found the right career for me.

What differentiates you from other advisors?

I come from the venture capital and startup world, meaning, I’ve been in my clients’ shoes before. For this reason, I can personally relate to the many challenges they face on a daily basis. Knowing that I can empathize gives my clients complete confidence in the solutions that I provide. They like working with someone who truly gets the obstacles they face and how they affect all aspects of their lives. Entrepreneurs, multigenerational business owners and high-level executives, in particular, face unique challenges when it comes to wealth strategy.
