Manager

I boost confidence and encourage others

A good manager is someone who coaches rather than delegates or demands. I want folks to be successful and I strive to be their coach along the way.

What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?

As corny as it sounds, my colleagues have become a family away from home. I enjoy coming to work every day because of the people I am surrounded by. We are driven and care about what we do. Our hope is to better the lives of our clients and bring success to everyone around us.

Becoming a manager was one of the very best experiences of my life. I have been interested in becoming a manager since almost the very beginning of my Bernstein career. I care tremendously about the success of others and felt that I could make a positive impact by stepping into a leadership position. I get to be involved in the training and development of my colleagues and take an active role in helping them meet their goals.

If you didn’t work for Bernstein, what else would you be doing?

In another life, I would work with animals in some capacity. My lifelong dream is to own a farm and turn it into an animal rescue. The farm would foster animals and prepare them for their new homes. The rescue would also allow me to take in animals who don’t have anyone else.
