What inspired you to join Bernstein?
Prior to joining Bernstein, I was looking for an opportunity that would allow me to draw upon my past experiences. After 20-plus years of working on Wall Street, my attraction to join Bernstein was the firm’s reputation as a global leader in investment research and management.
What is the most fulfilling aspect of being an advisor to your clients?
Collaborating with a purpose-driven organization to deliver personalized services to meet specific needs. We help our clients achieve these goals through ESG and integrated wealth planning. By helping accomplish this framework, this frees up the nonprofits, individuals and families to focus on what’s most important: their mission. I personally feel that creating a lasting impact or legacy on a community, school or an organization is one of the most powerful things we can accomplish.
What passions do you pursue outside of work?
My passions outside the office include college football, golf, and food. Whether I am smoking a brisket for a barbeque competition, making cupcakes with my daughter or chasing down a great paella, good food is within reach. As a former college football player, football is the ultimate team game. Preparation, toughness, precision, patience and aggressiveness are all needed to win in football and many of the same traits are needed to be successful in golf.
