Planning for the Pursuit of Passion

Being prepared gives me and my clients the tools and confidence to tackle whatever is ahead so we can pursue our passions.

What inspired you to join Bernstein?

I have worked with financial advisors for 15 years. During that time, I’ve taken notice of the inefficiencies of other firms in the private wealth business. As a fiduciary, Bernstein is only concerned with client outcomes. Bernstein’s integrated platform and research empowers clients and their families to maximize the flexibility their investments and wealth can provide them. Not only do we manage money for the best possible after-tax results, we also integrate family legacy planning into outcomes, which encourages families to communicate better.

What kind of experience do you offer to your clients?

I work with corporate executives, business owners, and entrepreneurs experiencing a major wealth event such as the sale of a business or the transfer of a business to another generation. My hands-on approach focuses on creating a family mission statement that can help cement the family legacy. I help my clients understand how their wealth can allow more flexibility in their lives and enable them to embrace their passions. This empowers them to communicate better with their family about their wealth..

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

The most important thing to me is my family. My wife Katie and our two daughters, understand what I do and why I do it. As a family, we enjoy music, the arts, and the outdoors. Doing things together helps us communicate better. Like many of my clients, it has become very important for us to have the flexibility to pursue our passions as a family. I also enjoy shooting sporting clays, coaching rugby, and playing tennis and golf. As a family, we consistently work to engage with our community in ways that are impactful.
