Three “I’s”—Intelligence, Innovation and Integrity

It’s a privilege to be able to play an integral role in helping clients achieve the goals and aspirations they are most passionate about. I’m motivated by the trust that my clients place in me to be the steward of their family’s financial well-being.

What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?

It’s quite simple. As an advisor, it’s an enormous strategic advantage to work for a firm that stands squarely at the intersection of intelligence, innovation and integrity. Still, to be one of the world’s most respected investment research firms just isn’t enough these days. What truly matters is combining ingeniousness with pragmatism. At Bernstein, we apply our intellectual advantage towards developing thoughtful solutions that address the complex issues our clients encounter on a daily basis. I am confident that one would be hard-pressed to find another firm as committed to this doctrine as Bernstein. That said, one would have to search even harder for a firm that lives up to this value system while also aligning its own interests directly with those of its clients. Bernstein’s is as elegant of a system as you’ll find in our industry…our success is predicated on our client’s success.

Tell me about the types of clients you work with.

Every client is unique. However, there is a thread of commonality in the complexity of their respective financial situations. My responsibility is to bring creative and thoughtful solutions to my clients, who range from multigenerational families to owners of closely held businesses and corporate executives. The intention is to ease the burden of their complexities and to provide them with more physical, mental and emotional space so they can enjoy their wealth.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

I spend as much of my free time as possible with my young Sons, Ezra and Isaac. If I’m not preoccupied raising a mensch, I am profoundly motivated by helping those who are less fortunate than myself. To do this, I volunteer with several local nonprofit organizations. However, I spend most of my time serving the philanthropic efforts at City of Hope, a leading nonprofit cancer research and treatment center. I am also an avid Peloton rider and I’ve recently discovered my love for pickleball!
