Investing in Others

To put it simply, we are different here. The commitment we make to investing in our talent is unprecedented. It has enabled our firm to prosper, and it is a key driver of our continued success.

What inspired you to join Bernstein?

The people, and this cannot be overstated. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture of collaboration and service excellence. Our cross-functional approach enables us to consistently deliver industry-leading client service, and our investment in one another helps us grow the next generation of financial experts. This commitment to both our internal and external constituents was evident on day one, and it has inspired me to lead my teams with courage and integrity.

What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?

Once again, it’s the people, along with what we do and how we do it. Working at Bernstein is defined by collaboration, innovation and investment in one another. We are always reflecting on how we can improve—how we can work better together—striving to manage money in a way that is best for our clients. And this dedication starts with the investment we make in our employees. We offer Wall Street-renowned training, mentorship and unparalleled opportunity for growth, understanding that the more we invest in our employees, the more they are invested in Bernstein and our clients. They say if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life, and the people here make this expression ring true.

If you didn’t work for Bernstein, what else would you be doing?

If I didn’t work at Bernstein, I would be pursuing a career as a professor. I am energized by training and development, and I live for those “light bulb” moments when my colleagues tie smaller tasks with the big picture. Having an opportunity to build the foundation of Bernstein’s next generation of leaders and advisors helps to scratch that itch, as we have a culture of lifelong learners, all of whom are committed to raising the bar in the wealth management industry.
