What inspired you to join Bernstein?
Over more than two decades in financial services, I watched traditional wealth management become increasingly commoditized, often falling short of the needs of families managing multi-generational complexity. Bernstein stood out for its ability to go beyond the conventional— pairing innovative solutions with deep institutional resources to address my clients’ planning, governance and legacy goals. Just as important, Bernstein’s scale and commitment to philanthropy meaningfully expands my ability to deliver impact, not only for the families I advise, but across my broader community.
What kind of experience do you offer to your clients?
My focus is on translating complexity into meaningful, lasting impact, ensuring that my clients’ resources strengthen the people, communities and causes they hold dear.
The process begins by developing a clear understanding of how wealth supports their life today, how it must adapt to future transitions, and which risks and constraints require thoughtful structuring. That clarity serves as the foundation for disciplined financial planning and investment strategies designed to address their unique needs across investments, taxes, estate planning, governance and legacy objectives.
Throughout the relationship, my clients remain well informed about markets and economic conditions while benefiting from a steady, objective perspective during periods of uncertainty. Ultimately, my clients’ success is defined not by numbers alone, but by how effectively their capital supports what matters most, both today and across generations.
What passions do you pursue outside of work?
When I was a kid, my dad would tell us how important it was to live a balanced life. He said balance came from developing five aspects of your life: physical, intellectual, spiritual, social and the arts. That stuck with me and it’s something my wife and I try to instill in our three kids. So, outside of work, my passions are diverse and evolving in pursuit of balance. A typical weekend might look like this: a family 5k race in the morning, me doing concert photography at a show in Deep Ellum, dinner with friends, playing in the church band and winding it all down reading a good autobiography.
