What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?

If you didn’t work for Bernstein, what else would you be doing?
As a young kid who learned to read by sitting down with the sports section of the newspaper, I’ve always dreamed of running a sports team in Houston. Growing up as a native Houstonian, the opportunity to build a team that reflects Houston’s spirit and resilience would be incredible. Having witnessed numerous Houston teams crowned as champions, the opportunity to play a role in the next one would be the thrill of a lifetime.
What passions do you pursue outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and kids and being active. Growing up, I was deeply involved in sports, which nurtured my competitive nature and taught me the importance of discipline and teamwork. Golf, in particular, offers me a perfect blend of relaxation and challenge, allowing me to unwind while honing my skills on the course. It’s a sport that satisfies my competitive spirit and teaches patience and precision, qualities I value both on and off the green. Equally important to me is the time I spend with my family. Whether we’re embarking on new adventures or simply enjoying each other’s company at home, these moments are invaluable. They provide me with joy, balance and a sense of fulfillment that enriches every aspect of my life.
