What’s the best way for people to put their wealth in perspective?
I believe wealth is ultimately a ticket to freedom. Freedom to spend time with the people who matter most, pursue meaningful experiences, support the causes you care about, and create opportunities for future generations.
Because every family defines success differently, I start by understanding what wealth means to them. My role is not simply to manage investments, but to help clients align their resources with the lives they want to live. When wealth is viewed through the lens of purpose, decisions become clearer, opportunities become more intentional, and money becomes a tool rather than an objective.
What kind of experience do you offer to your clients?
I often joke that 90% of what I do isn’t in my job description. That’s because the most important conversations clients have aren’t always about investments. They’re about family, opportunity, uncertainty, health, legacy, and the decisions that shape their lives.
As an outsourced family office, I may help a founder navigate a liquidity event, connect a family with trusted resources, or simply serve as a sounding board during times of transition. My goal is to help clients move forward with confidence, knowing they have someone in their corner who listens, understands, and helps bring clarity to complexity.
If you didn’t work for Bernstein, what else would you be doing?
If I weren’t a wealth advisor, I’d likely be following in my family’s footsteps in a profession centered around helping people solve problems and navigate life’s complexities. I’ve always been fascinated by what motivates people, the challenges they face, and the decisions that shape their lives.
What I find most rewarding about helping people work through challenges is that you quickly learn what truly matters to them. Whether it’s family, purpose, relationships, community, achievement, or something else entirely, those conversations often reveal the values that guide their lives. I find that endlessly interesting and incredibly meaningful.
