What inspired you to join Bernstein?
The people, culture and resources. Having worked at several firms throughout my career, I’ve experienced various work cultures. Bernstein is the only firm that resembles my championship-winning teams at Wisconsin. Everyone supports one another, and the best way to win is together.
What differentiates you from other advisors?
I wake up every day with the mindset of consistently improving. Playing collegiate football at Wisconsin taught me how to perform at my highest level, despite constant adversity. My clients can rest assured that I will remain poised through the ups and downs of both capital markets and life.
How have your values and personal background uniquely positioned you to work with your clients?
Being born and raised in the Midwest, I hold Midwestern values at heart: family, hard work and giving back to the community. I watched my father run an extremely successful business throughout my childhood, then saw him lose it during the Great Recession. This motivated me to pursue a career in wealth management not only to ensure that I wouldn’t have to experience this again, but also to help other families and business owners avoid similar hardships. Playing collegiate football for a nationally ranked program instilled in me a different level of discipline, determination and perseverance than the average person. These skills are embedded in everything I do, and I always strive to go above and beyond for my clients.
