Professionals’ Professional

Clients value my diversity of experience: a career that began in Silicon Valley took me to Wall Street, and now to working with individuals and families. Over decades, I’ve experienced multiple market cycles from distressed to boom to calm times. I combine my experience with empathy to create a partnership with my clients. Together we navigate the responsibility, complexity and opportunities of wealth.

What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?

Bernstein continually innovates, expanding investment opportunities and specialized services to meet clients’ needs. We’re known for intellectual prowess and a strong work ethic. No matter the issue my clients face, there is a professional at Bernstein with deep subject-matter expertise. I’m proud of the work that Bernstein does. It allows me to develop and sustain long-term relationships with clients and make a difference in their lives. Equally important, I trust the integrity of the organization and that brings me peace of mind. For these reasons I love coming to work at Bernstein, which I’ve been doing for more than 15 years.

What kind of experience do you offer to your clients?

I provide a high-touch financial advisory experience. My clients are accomplished executives, entrepreneurs and professionals who seek a level of competence that mirrors their own. They have achieved, or in some cases have inherited, a level of wealth that brings with it considerable responsibility and opportunity.

Working closely with clients to clarify their priorities, I design investment- and estate-planning strategies for their unique and often complex financial circumstances. I enable clients to confidently make informed decisions by clarifying the pros and cons of strategies available to reach their goals. We continually revisit their plans as their lives evolve and the investment landscape and tax laws change.

My clients have a real sense that I have their best interests in mind and that is why they have chosen to remain with me year after year.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

At a young age, I was fortunate to be introduced to ballet class—which quickly became a passion and professional pursuit—along with many other forms of dance and later musical theater. The discipline, dedication, creativity and collaboration from my formative years are reflected in all that I do.

I continue to dance, taking jazz class at Alvin Ailey Extension in New York City. I cherish its community spirit and energy. I served on my NYC coop board. You’ll also find me on the tennis courts in East Hampton, at the gym, on the ski slopes and spending quality time with family and friends.

I serve on the President’s Council of Cornell Women and the Entrepreneurship at Cornell Advisory Council, supporting Cornell’s female students, faculty, alumnae and budding entrepreneurs.
