Clarity When It Matters Most

I work with business owners, families and foundations navigating complexity and change. I’m motivated by the belief that thoughtful, honest advice at the right moment can help people gain clarity, make better decisions and change the trajectory of their lives.

Why did you choose Bernstein to grow your career?

I’m a boomerang to Bernstein. I chose the firm twice because it gives me the best opportunity to be true to myself, my clients and the communities I care about.

Bernstein’s sole focus on investment management—with no reliance on banking, lending or product distribution—ensures that our interests are structurally aligned with those of our clients. That model creates accountability and sets a clear expectation that my colleagues and I act honestly, transparently and client‑first in every situation.

It also allows me to spend my time where it matters most: getting to know people, what they care about, and what they are trying to accomplish. From there, I can bring the firm’s research, investment, planning and tax expertise to bear so clients benefit from the collective experience of Bernstein.

Many of my colleagues and clients have been with the firm for decades, creating a culture built on trust and long‑term commitment. That environment allows me to focus on what I do best—understanding people and earning their trust.

How have your values and personal background specifically positioned you to work with your clients?

My values were shaped by personal struggles and by the people who helped me through them. Coming through those experiences with the support of others instilled a deep commitment to pay it forward, be of service, act with honesty and humility, and do what’s right even when it’s uncomfortable. During a period when life felt overwhelming, a few trusted advisors helped me face my situation head on and reminded me that I wasn’t alone. With their guidance and support, I was able to make better decisions and ultimately change my trajectory. That experience continues to shape how I show up for clients, especially when things are hard.

That background also guided my professional path. I immersed myself in business school, private investing, advising small businesses and Fortune 500 companies, partnering with business owners, managing wealth for private clients, and supporting nonprofit organizations. I viewed each of these as opportunities to learn and grow so I could be more useful to the people and communities I serve.

If you didn’t work for Bernstein, what else would you be doing?

If I didn’t work in this field, I would be building a small business grounded in my local community. I feel most fulfilled when I’m helping people feel more connected and supported, and I’m drawn to creating spaces where people can come together, have honest conversations, and experience a real sense of belonging.

That instinct already shapes how I spend my time. I support and invest in organizations working to bring people together and reduce isolation, particularly for young people navigating uncertainty and change. If I weren’t advising clients, I would simply dedicate even more of my energy to that work.
