I chose to work at Bernstein because of the way we provide advice. We have a singular focus in our business: managing money on behalf of our clients. This allows us to provide unconflicted advice for our clients and makes us directly accountable for investment performance. By focusing solely on money management, we are able to dedicate our expertise and resources to helping our clients define and achieve their financial goals without any conflicts of interest. What is the most fulfilling aspect of being an advisor to your clients?
The most fulfilling part of being an advisor to my clients is the opportunity to help them navigate the complexities of their lives. Providing sound investment advice in ever-changing private and public markets has become table stakes in our industry. We desire to add value beyond just sound investment advice. Clients come to us with the benefit of wealth but the burden of complexity, and I find satisfaction in simplifying and guiding them through the intricacies of the difficult decisions they face. I believe that finances are a point of anxiety for all people, regardless of the number on the bottom of their balance sheet, and being able to alleviate that stress for my clients is incredibly rewarding. By providing them with tailored advice, strategic planning, and ongoing support, I aim to empower my clients to make informed choices and secure their financial well-being in the face of uncertainty.
What passions do you pursue outside of work?
I am passionate about helping children and young adults who may not have the resources and/or guidance they need. I believe every child needs mentorship from those around them. I am grateful for the strong and positive influences I have had in my own life, and I strive to pay it forward by providing support and guidance to those children who need it most.
The relationships I have are the most important thing in my life. Coming from a family of 10, including five older brothers, I have always valued the bond and support that genuine connection provides. As Tampa residents since 2020, my wife and I have enjoyed spreading our roots and networks in Florida, always holding our Midwestern values near.
