Why did you choose Bernstein to grow your career?
I transitioned from a career in public accounting and private equity fund management to join Bernstein because I wanted to leverage my financial expertise in a client-centric role. Bernstein’s industry-renowned private wealth management practice facilitates building relationships with clients and creating tailored investment strategies with comprehensive planning. Joining Bernstein empowered me to engage in work that I find both personally fulfilling and professionally rewarding, while serving the firm’s valued clients.
What differentiates you from other advisors?
I possess a strong foundation in financial analysis, risk assessment and regulatory knowledge to assist clients with tax strategies and compliance. These skills enhance my ability to provide data-driven insights into my clients’ wealth, the performance of their investments and the market as a whole. Additionally, my experience working with private equity funds taught me about alternative investments and their financial impact on investors. These experiences enable me to offer strategic, tailored solutions to address both immediate and long-term financial planning and optimize financial outcomes.
What passions do you pursue outside of work?
Outside of work, I’m passionate about embracing the Chesapeake Bay lifestyle. I feel very fortunate to have enjoyed a childhood with fresh seafood and crabs, which continues to be my favorite summertime meal. My love for the water includes more exciting activities as well, such as wakeboarding and kiteboarding. Additionally, as a licensed scuba diver, I jump at any opportunity to explore underwater ecosystems. During the fall and winter months, I take advantage of any opportunity to ski and root for the Washington, DC, sports teams. These activities not only keep me active but also provide a perfect balance to my professional life.
