Aligning Wealth with Purpose

Helping families, business owners and institutions make thoughtful financial decisions that reflect their values and support meaningful impact over time.

What inspired you to join Bernstein?

I was drawn to Bernstein because of the firm’s clarity of purpose and its deep respect for both intellectual rigor and human values. From my first introduction to the firm, it was clear that Bernstein takes a long-term, highly thoughtful approach to wealth, one that integrates disciplined investment thinking with comprehensive planning and a genuine understanding of families, businesses and institutions.

I was also struck by the culture. The openness, collaboration and willingness to share perspectives across teams stood out immediately. Bernstein felt like a place where curiosity is encouraged, ideas are challenged constructively and doing what’s right for clients always comes first. That alignment between how I think about advice and how the firm delivers it made my decision to join Bernstein an easy one.

How do you help clients put their wealth in perspective?

Many of the individuals and families I work with reach a point where the conversation shifts from accumulation to purpose. My role is to help them step back and think holistically about how their wealth supports their values, priorities and long-term vision.

I work with families, business owners and philanthropic organizations to align investment strategy, estate planning and charitable giving with what matters most to them. Common questions we explore include how to transfer values alongside assets, how to support causes in a meaningful and sustainable way, and how to create clarity during periods of transition or growth. I believe the most effective wealth management is ongoing, intentional and grounded in a clear understanding of impact both within the family and beyond it.

If you didn’t work for Bernstein, what else would you be doing?

If I weren’t in wealth management, I would still be focused on expanding opportunity. I’m passionate about addressing gaps in access to education and resources, particularly for young people who begin life with limited support. I believe early intervention, especially programs that build confidence, emotional intelligence and leadership skills, can have a lasting impact.

That same motivation carries through my work today. Whether I’m advising families, entrepreneurs or foundations, my goal is to help people use their resources thoughtfully to create stability, open doors for others and leave a positive legacy.
