Every Client Has a Story

Wealth is about more than numbers. It’s about the people, values and goals behind them. I became an advisor to help clients make confident decisions and build lives that reflect what matters most.

Why did you choose Bernstein to grow your career?

When I started my career in wealth management, I knew early on that Bernstein was where I wanted to grow. The firm’s culture is built around its people, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, mentorship and continuous learning. I am fortunate to be surrounded by colleagues who are genuinely invested in my development and always willing to share their knowledge and experience.

What impressed me most from the beginning is that the same philosophy carries over to our clients. We don’t start with products or portfolios. We start with people, their stories, their goals and what matters most to them. That people-first approach allows us to build deeper relationships and provide thoughtful advice that is aligned with each client’s unique circumstances.

The combination of exceptional people, continuous learning and a commitment to doing what’s right for clients is a major reason I’ve chosen to build my career at Bernstein.

How have your values and personal background specifically positioned you to work with your clients?

As the son of parents whose families immigrated from Cuba in search of a better life, I was raised with a strong work ethic, a sense of gratitude and the belief that opportunities should never be taken for granted. Those values have shaped my perspective on success, relationships and the responsibility that comes with helping others make important financial decisions.

Growing up in a family of business owners, I saw the long hours, sacrifices, risks and responsibilities that business owners take on, while also witnessing the pride that comes from creating opportunities for others and providing for a family.

That background helps me connect with many of the business owners, entrepreneurs and families I serve today. I understand that wealth represents years of hard work, personal sacrifice, family aspirations and future opportunities. Helping clients preserve, grow and use their wealth in ways that support what matters most to them makes this work meaningful to me.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

Outside of work, you can most likely find me on the golf course, tennis court or pickleball court. As a former Division I golfer, I was fortunate to compete at a high level, and I still enjoy the excitement of competition along with the challenges and camaraderie that come with it.

Sports have been a huge part of my life since I was a kid and have shaped much of who I am today. The lessons I’ve learned through sports, from discipline and perseverance to handling both success and failure, continue to influence me in all aspects of life.

When I’m not playing golf, tennis or pickleball, you can usually find me spending time with family and trying new restaurants that South Florida has to offer. Whether through sports, food or shared experiences, I enjoy making meaningful connections and creating lasting memories along the way.
