NEW YORK, July 8, 2024 — Bernstein Private Wealth Management (Bernstein), a unit of AllianceBernstein L.P. (NYSE: AB), today announced the promotions and appointment of Managing Directors in two key markets: Amy Botkin in Atlanta and Ben Moscowicz in Miami. Botkin and Moscowicz, who are Principals of the firm, will be responsible for overseeing private wealth advisory, operations, and growth of the business in their respective regions.
The appointments come as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to be best positioned to support the changing face of wealth, and emerging geographies of their ultrahigh-net-worth clients.
“I am delighted to announce the promotions of Amy Botkin and Ben Moscowicz. Their continuous dedication and impressive track record of success, both within and outside of the firm, make them excellent leaders to expand our presence in these vital growth markets,” said Rick Meyers, Head of Client and Advisory at Bernstein. “Amy and Ben share a deep commitment to delivering a sophisticated client experience and I am confident that they will lead their respective regions to new heights and help us achieve our growth objectives. I look forward to seeing all that they will accomplish as they nurture and expand their teams.”
Bernstein’s Atlanta office is planning to grow rapidly over the next 12–18 months. The office has served Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle for over 18 years and sees notable opportunities across FinTech and Healthcare, with Atlanta’s overall high-net-worth population estimated to be growing at 6% from 2022 to 2027. Botkin brings with her 32 years of experience, including 15 years of Bernstein tenure. Prior to Bernstein, she held senior management, business development, and operations positions at Fortune 100 companies for 20 years. Additionally, Botkin is passionate about increasing opportunities in adaptive sports for children and adults with disabilities, and supports the Atlanta organization BlazeSports. She serves on the board of the Greenville Community Foundation and Prisma Health—Pediatric Hematology/Oncology “Inspire Courage” Campaign Committee; she attended Clemson University. “I am thrilled about the opportunity to lead the Atlanta office. There is nothing more I love than to build and grow an organization and it all starts with developing and growing our team,” said Botkin. “I am fortunate to be surrounded by some of the brightest and best in the industry as we serve our fantastic clients and their families. I can’t wait for what’s to come.”
Bernstein has witnessed tremendous growth in Miami since opening its doors in 2002. The office primarily serves the financial well-being of the South Florida market, especially the rapidly growing ecosystem of entrepreneurs, founders, and global families who view Miami as a permanent or satellite home to their primary country of residence. Moscowicz has been with Bernstein for over 24 years. He began his career with the company in Los Angeles as an associate and relocated to Miami in 2004. Moscowicz supports local animal rescue shelters and serves on the executive board of the Miami/Broward chapter of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) and the University of Miami Citizens Board. He is also a member of Temple Beth Am in Pinecrest and attended the University of Colorado Boulder. “I am excited about this promotion and look forward to contributing further to Bernstein’s growth in Miami and beyond,” said Moscowicz. “The growth and energy in Miami are contagious, and I am excited to lead Bernstein’s Miami office as we grow and expand alongside our clients and community partners.”
