A Personalized Approach to Investing

I operate with the understanding that no two persons have the same needs. Getting to know what’s important to YOU is my top priority so we can construct a game plan that aligns with your specific goals. Let’s have some fun with it!

What inspired you to join Bernstein?

The investment that this organization makes in its employees is evident by the high percentage of leadership personnel who started out their Bernstein careers in entry level roles. That’s a scenario that is relatively uncommon in high-level firms. My interview process was extensive. Over the course of two months, I met with senior vice presidents, directors, and associates across several different departments. From top to bottom, I was blown away by the level of professionalism and pride that Bernstein employees have in their work. The people here care about what they do and who they do it for. Couple that with a cutting-edge approach, access to an industry leading research department, and the ability to partner with the brightest minds in wealth management, joining Bernstein was a no-brainer. I have always been passionate about becoming an Advisor, and I am proud to call Bernstein home.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

I’ve always been a person who craves a physical challenge. After graduating college and retiring from my athletic career, there was a void that needed to be filled and I was unsure where that path would lead me. My fiancé’s family has always enjoyed hiking, so I decided to give that a shot. I was hooked immediately. I love everything about hiking mountains: analyzing maps to find the best routes, coming up with contingency plans in the case of bad weather, packing my bag with possible necessities like head lamps or shoe spikes, and even the constant struggle of the climb. This passion has taken me all over the country in pursuit of the toughest trails, and most recently in my quest to hike all 48 of New Hampshire’s 4,000-foot peaks. Pulling up to the base of a mountain with nothing but the items in my pack and a game plan to execute is what provides me with those pre-game jitters I missed and has allowed me to fill that void.

What is the most fulfilling aspect of being an advisor to your clients?

It’s wonderful to experience people-set priorities, take consistent action, and watch their sacrifices pay off. As an Advisor, I’m privy to the most endearing qualities of human beings who are truly working to improve the lives of both themselves and their loved ones. I help them seek ways to do an even better job.  The ability to play a part in the execution of those priorities and to see the fulfillment that it brings my clients is why I do what I do. There’s an old saying that reads: “Life is good when you are happy, but much better when people are happy because of you.” For me as a Bernstein Advisor, this rings true each and every day.
