Goals Give Our Lives Meaning

I thought nothing could be more rewarding than achieving individual goals until I had the opportunity to play an integral part in seeing my clients achieve their own.

What inspired you to join Bernstein?

I joined Bernstein for many reasons, but two in particular. One was the opportunity to provide unconflicted, custom-tailored advice and act as a true fiduciary for my clients. Bernstein’s approach to working with successful families is not only state-of-the-art but allows me to focus on what matters most—creating the best outcomes for my clients and helping them achieve their most intimate goals. My second reason is simply the people. When you hire me as your advisor, you also hire Bernstein, which consists of some of the most intelligent, kindhearted, and selfless people I have ever had the chance to work alongside.

Tell me about the types of clients you work with.

My practice comprises uniquely successful, multi-generational families that have the benefits that come with great wealth, but also the burden of complex problems and opportunities. My clients are primarily business owners and corporate executives who need assistance with an array of issues unique to their respective situations. I spend a good part of my life helping clients answer the question: “Do I have enough?” I spend an equal amount of time helping them answer the more complex question of “What am I missing?”

Whatever the problem or goal my client has, I leave no stone unturned in my efforts to find the best solution.

Which personal accomplishment makes you proudest?

Seven years ago, I lost over 50 pounds in a journey to rediscover my health and self-worth. While this was one of the hardest things I have ever done, it was also the most rewarding. This put into motion my thirst for setting and achieving goals of all sizes, and ultimately my desire to help others achieve the goals that mean the most to them. The first time I saw one of my clients living out their dream, I knew that lending my expertise to others was the most rewarding experience imaginable.
