Tell me about the types of clients you work with.
Success comes in many shapes and sizes, as do my clients. What they all have in common is complexity, a desire for unconflicted advice, and an appreciation for someone that is willing to be integrally involved in their lives beyond just money management. My clients view me as a key life advisor. Whether my client is launching a new business, looking for strategic partners, or preparing for a future liquidity event, I am their first call responder. I am also their critical connector and their biggest cheerleader. I’m intimately involved in my clients' lives, families, and businesses. That is how I offer sound guidance and value. Some of the other areas in which I help my clients include planning for retirement, diversifying concentrated stock positions, and educating multigenerational families on wealth transfer strategies.
What differentiates you from other advisors?
I know clients have options when selecting a Financial Advisor. But my clients engage me for more than just money management. And they stay with me because of the deep-rooted relationship we make together. I create value for them beyond wealth advice, such as solving for complexity or creating investment strategies around their core priorities. I’d like to think no one knows their clients—and their hearts—better than I know mine. I function as an extension of their family, a member of their most inner circle. Such a relationship requires great trust and respect. My clients know that I will always show up for them and stop at nothing to help them find success in all facets of their lives. I’m their quarterback and they entrust me with the great responsibility of managing their lives.
Share one of your most memorable professional accomplishments with us.
Joining Bernstein is easily one of my most memorable professional accomplishments! But I’ve had to come a long way to get here. My childhood memories are full of sacrifice, struggle, and an endless pursuit to prove others wrong following a significant diagnosis of a learning difference. That diagnosis painted a lackluster future for me with limited professional opportunities. But I never let that forecast hold me back. Instead, I leveraged the opportunity to remain resilient and push forward, allowing adversity to enhance my perspective. Today, I’m able to connect with others on a deep level, helping them understand that anything is possible when you will it into existence. My clients know my story, appreciate my tenacious energy, and have confidence that I will deliver. And they trust that I’ll stop at nothing to help them achieve their goals. They know great things don’t come easy. It takes hard work, determination, an incredible network and sheer grit.
