Dedicated People Leader and Talent Developer

I joined the Chicago office in 2016 as an associate and relocated to the New York office in 2020 to become a manager. I oversee four private wealth support teams and spend my time recruiting future talent for the firm and developing our people.

What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?

I have worked at Bernstein for so long because of the firm’s commitment to investing in its people. As an employee of the firm, you have direct access to senior leadership and our firm’s leaders are devoted to your professional development. Bernstein has a state-of-the-art training program and the learning never stops throughout your career here. I am truly challenged each day and learn skills in the Bernstein classroom setting that are crucial to success in the wealth management industry. After absorbing so much wisdom at the firm, one of the things I most enjoy is training and developing emerging leaders. This is my way of giving back to Bernstein, a company that has invested so much energy, time, and resources in me.

Share one of your most memorable professional accomplishments with us.

My most memorable professional accomplishment was becoming a manager at the firm.

I have always had a passion for coaching and developing the people around me. As a manager, I strive to be an advocate for my team, challenge them to get out of their comfort zone, expand their skill sets and partner with them to achieve their goals. My team members come to me with complex projects and together, we brainstorm and think up creative, innovative solutions.

In addition, I have enjoyed the immense and fun responsibility of college recruiting for our New York office. I have a passion for helping students think through their career goals and advising them on how to best navigate the wealth management industry. I also guide Bernstein's interns on how to build a network within the firm and apply the content they absorb in training sessions to successfully partner with advisors and clients.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and love spending time outdoors with friends and family. I enjoy playing tennis, following Florida sports teams, and mentoring Kelly School of Business students at my alma mater, Indiana University. I am passionate about being a resource to college students both in the recruiting process and their career search. Personally, I have witnessed the power of a great mentor and what it can do for your career and spirit. Younger people, especially in today’s world, need someone who can guide them through the challenging, ever-changing workspace. I’ve always had a desire to help others and love giving back. It’s a pleasure and honor to help students navigate the finance industry.
