I Love Being Around People

In uncertain times, I help clients understand which financial decisions are in their control. My wish is to act as their confidant, provide counsel and empower them to make the best decisions so they have the highest probability of success.

What inspired you to join Bernstein?

I knew from an early age that I wanted a career in wealth management. Fortunately, I was advised by a fellow Lehigh University graduate that getting my CPA would be a great start. I took that advice and spent the early part of my career auditing brokerage firms to learn the business. When I was ready to start my career in wealth management, I interviewed with several firms. Looking back, the process seems very similar to the search process our clients take to find the best wealth management firm for their circumstances. Bernstein was the only firm I found that required I learn how to be an advisor before I was hired. The firm is very protective of its clients and their reputation, which I respect because I am as well. Bernstein felt like a place where I could be for a very long time because it is a company where one can expand within. No further explanation is needed because the rest is history...I’ve stayed here happily ever since.

How have your values and personal background uniquely positioned you to work with your clients?

I grew up in a large family as one of six children. A fun fact about me is that I’m a quadruplet. However, my siblings and I are all very different and my parents thought it was important to treat us as individuals. My father ran his own business, which meant he worked late and traveled frequently. From a young age, I was often asked by my parents to take on additional responsibilities that my siblings were not asked to do. I always took pride in being relied upon by my parents to help the greater good of our family, even if it meant extra work for me. I also understood that my siblings had different skills and contributed to the family unit in their own way. As an advisor, I take great pride in the responsibility clients entrust me with to take care of them and their families. I also understand that caring for clients is not a one-man job, and enjoy collaborating with my colleagues and outside professionals to make sure clients are in the best position to succeed.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

I love being around people and hate sitting still! From playing sports to volunteering in the community and cooking and enjoying a meal with family, I’m always looking for something to do. Since age 13, I’ve played ice hockey and golf regularly. I’m thrilled that my two sons like to tag along and join me on the ice and golf course. I’m also on the board of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ, the Jewish Community Foundation and Pingry Alumni Association Board. When I do have downtime, I love to cook, eat out and watch shows about cooking.
