Empowering Thoughtful Decision-Making

I use over 40 years of capital markets experience and the deep resources of the firm to bring insight to the current market environment and to offer asset allocation advice that relates to the unique circumstances of each client.

What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?

I joined in 2005 and have found each year more satisfying than the year before. At Bernstein I have constantly been given space to exercise my skills. And I have found reward in understanding client objectives and concerns as well as collaborating creatively with my colleagues to ensure best possible outcomes. Gathering as a team to provide a set of options to solve a complex problem is where Bernstein excels and where I find energy and continual renewal.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

I like sports that take me outdoors: skiing, sailing, and hiking mountains. I also like travel which expands my understanding of the natural and human world such as safari and adventure. As a trained chef, I like to experiment and entertain. I like to watch people dance, which I find to be the highest expression of human emotion.

Who has been the most influential person in your life?

My mother. She fostered my curiosity, insisted on my independence, and yet provided a place of comfort and security. She was ahead of her time. Though she was the daughter of a postman, through her own smarts she qualified as an aeronautical engineer in wartime England, while supporting my father through the early years of their marriage.
