Research Insights Lead to Well Informed Decisions

As wealth grows, complexity often grows with it. I work with clients to research and analyze their most pressing planning issues and provide them with the information and support they need to make well-informed decisions about their wealth.

What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?

The quality of the people and the integrity with which we treat our clients. I am surrounded by colleagues who have built decades-long careers at Bernstein, and I am consistently amazed by the intellect, drive and kindness exhibited by my peers day in and day out. We are a world-class investment management firm with an “open-door” culture at every level. Intellectual curiosity is encouraged and there is a persistent energy within the firm leading to cutting-edge research and a drive to constantly improve our clients’ outcomes and experiences. The loyalty inherent in our relationships with our clients is second to none. We are thoroughly invested in ensuring that our clients are treated fairly, are well-informed and have a positive relationship with their investment manager. Personally, I know that the research and analytics that I bring to bear for clients make a tremendous impact on their lives, and I find it incredibly energizing.

What’s the best way for people to put their wealth in perspective?

I believe that wealth encompasses not only the amount in one’s portfolio, but also the richness with which they experience life. We all have different priorities: entrepreneurial success, supporting favored charitable organizations, spending time with loved ones, traveling the world. Wealth often enables our goals, but it doesn’t define them. We help clients surface and articulate their individual priorities, and together we build a plan that allows them to thrive under their own unique vision for a successful and fulfilling lifestyle.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

I keep busy outside of work, spending time with my husband and one-year-old daughter; learning how to parent as we go, while cherishing (most of) this time. I also enjoy reading a good book, cooking, traveling, skiing and getting into nature for walks/hikes. Granted, after over a decade in NYC, the bar for “nature” is low—but we sneak away when we can!
