Always Learning and Connecting

In 5th grade, I fell in love with the markets, when I played The Stock Market Game. This passion led me to attend Wharton where I learned that I am at my best when helping others achieve their goals. Advising clients is the perfect blend!

What inspired you to join Bernstein?

I started my career at the Institute for Private Investors (IPI). Their mission is to empower ultrahigh-net-worth families from all over the world to be smarter about their wealth. During my time there, I worked with many different wealth management firms and investors. I also learned what was most important to IPI’s members on a variety of topics—from investments and asset allocation to family governance and philanthropy. When I made the decision to be more hands-on with my clients and their investments, I had a pretty clear idea of the type of firm that would be the right fit for me. I wanted to work for a company that puts clients first, strives to be a thought leader in both investment strategy and all aspects of wealth planning—and continuously innovates to meet client goals. Bernstein not only met all my criteria but was different from the other firms on my radar. Many years later, the reasons I joined Bernstein still hold true.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

I am committed to the advancement of women and girls and fighting for justice and equality for all people. I currently serve on two nonprofit boards, Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and Jewish Women’s Foundation of New York. Serving on these boards enables me to work alongside organizations and peers who are doing impactful work to help ensure positive social change. When I’m not at work or in a board meeting, you can find me dining out with my friends at a new restaurant, trying to improve my tennis game or going to the movies.

What is the most fulfilling aspect of being an advisor to your clients?

I absolutely love learning about my clients’ families, their businesses, passions, the causes they care most about and, truly, anything that is important to them. I care about every detail, big and small. I view my role as an advisor to be similar to a connector. In this respect, I make sure my clients benefit from all the incredible resources at Bernstein and the collaborative way in which our firm functions to meet their needs. Every client is different and working with each one to find the right solution is the challenge I look forward to every day.
