I Amplify the Impact My Clients Can Have

In my advisor role, I provide advice, marshal resources and acquire a deep knowledge of my client’s mission and values. My goal is to create and implement an ideal investment strategy to maximize the impact my clients have on the world around them.

What inspired you to join Bernstein?

I wanted to work for a firm that would empower me to broaden my impact—and put me in a position where I could help individuals and organizations maximize their impact for good. I was initially attracted to Bernstein because of its toolkit and investment strategies. The firm remains in the world-class caliber because it continues to evolve. Bernstein’s talent, quality of service and accountability, which is ingrained in our culture, is what I wanted to bring to my clients. Solving issues for families, educating the next generation on how to be good stewards of wealth and guiding boards of nonprofits on how to use their investments to maximize their mission has always motivated me as an advisor. Now, because of Bernstein, I am able to do everything that I love with more firepower than ever before.

How have your values and personal background uniquely positioned you to work with your clients?

I am fortunate to have grown up with two parents who both served others in their work, and gave me an education and moral compass that made me believe I could do anything. I took immense pride in my upbringing and never took it for granted. Therefore, I dedicated my professional life to solving multifaceted issues, including nonprofit funding strategies, education needs and technology infrastructure. All positions were intended to elevate areas that are often overlooked. In these roles, I learned how to lay a foundation through healthy relationships and consensus. I also learned how to create and execute a plan in challenging environments. Today, those experiences are fundamental in helping my clients achieve clarity around how to be better stewards of their wealth and scale their impact. Ultimately, just as my parents guided me, I want to help the families, organizations and donors achieve balance and success.

Which personal accomplishment makes you proudest?

It’s hard to go very long without thinking about my daughters. They are so inquisitive, energetic and growing at breakneck speed, which is remarkable to witness and play a role in. Being their parent is a joy and, even on the tiring days, the best kind of exhausting. I am so proud of them and who they are becoming and thankful to have a partner in my wife to enjoy and struggle through every experience and plan the future with. There is no greater accomplishment in my life than my daughters and the family my wife and I are building, our hope for a supportive and energetic environment to have a lot of fun, and constantly learn and grow.
