The best thing is becoming a part of the family

I know how hard my clients work to achieve financial success. That’s why it’s my mission to keep them on the path to greater, more satisfying success.

What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?

Bernstein’s evergreen pursuit to discover new and innovative investing opportunities and provide excellent consultation has been a constant inspiration during my 19 years at the firm. Our culture is based around the best interests of the client. There is just something about catering to a client’s needs with integrity that makes you proud of yourself and the company you work for. That pursuit energizes me to wake up every day so I can lead my clients to financial success. Lastly, it’s an honor and my ambition to represent the amazing fiduciary that we are.

What is the most fulfilling aspect of being an advisor to your clients?

The best part of being a financial advisor is the opportunity to offer financial guidance to a family and become a part of that family. Over the last 19 years, I’ve taken great pride in getting to know the families that I work with and truly understanding everything about them. When you work closely with a family, it is natural to become emotionally attached, from both a personal and professional standpoint. I most enjoy building relationships with the children of my clients and watching them transition through life from high school to college to marriage and having children of their own. The coolest thing is watching their families grow! Playing a part in my clients' financial lives, feeling like I am a part of their family, and getting them where they want to go is a journey I’ve absolutely cherished since I started at Bernstein many years ago.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

I am so proud of my kids and all they have accomplished. My passion for the past 20 years has been my involvement in their activities. Some of my favorite achievements outside of work include founding a top-level travel soccer club and serving as a swim team coach. I’ve also coached soccer at the club, high school, and college levels. Teaching kids and watching them grow and mature through sports has always been a thrill for me. In terms of my own favorite physical activity, I love to play golf, run, and ride my Peloton bike.
