Talent Development

Early in my career, I was blessed with amazing mentors. They helped me to figure out my personal and professional life, which made me pursue a career where I could do the same. Today, I bring out the best in others and lead them down the right path.

What inspired you to join Bernstein?

Prior to joining Bernstein, I worked in the financial services industry for about a decade. After this experience, I decided that I wanted a place to call my home. I also knew exactly what I wanted in terms of a work environment: a strong focus on professional development and providing the best client service possible. As I was interviewing for Bernstein, I realized that I had found both of these qualities within one firm. I wanted to join a firm that would always have its employees’ and clients’ best interests at heart. It was clear from the start that Bernstein embodied these traits.

What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?

My colleagues and the drive they exhibit, in terms of going above and beyond for our clients, is why I want to continue my career at Bernstein. Also, the firm’s leadership team keeps me on my toes and motivated to stretch myself in ways I never thought possible. The ongoing training at the firm allows me to focus on my team and make sure they feel inspired and motivated. My goal as a manager is to help the firm collectively move toward its goals.

If you didn’t work for Bernstein, what else would you be doing?

If I didn’t work for Bernstein, I would pursue my passion for education in a different environment: as a grade-school teacher. As a mother myself, I am greatly appreciative of my daughter’s teachers, especially in the year 2020 when she had to be homeschooled. Seeing my daughter thrive and become a better, smarter and more well-rounded person each day, because of her teachers, has been amazing to observe. I still marvel at the sizeable impact that great teachers can have on the world by shaping young minds. It’s a career path I would be interested in stepping into if I wasn’t here.
