What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?
Piece of cake: The people!
The Bernstein community is composed of some of the smartest and most driven people in the wealth management industry. This is true for those on my team and also, across the entire firm. I feel that Bernstein also attracts truly caring human beings. It’s both inspiring and reassuring to come to work knowing that your team is always there to support you. Collaborating with people that you feel close to, and can call on at any time, is both rewarding and enjoyable. In turn, I believe that a supportive environment also generates the best client outcomes. When the people inside of a company like, respect and honor each other’s individualities, it’s only natural that they will do the same for clients. It’s just logical.
What kind of experience do you offer to your clients?
In my many years at Bernstein, I’ve had the pleasure of working with all walks of life. Each client has a unique background and diverse personal/professional history. This makes my job interesting and fun.
The breadth of my experience and financial acumen, paired with Bernstein’s sole focus on investment management, is why clients want to work with me. To meet my clients’ expectations, I engage them in conversations around their goals and dreams—and seek to understand the entire financial picture. I want to know every granule of information, beyond what is managed by Bernstein. I create a plan tailored to them knowing the spirit behind the facts. Also, I believe in collaborating with every client’s team of professional partners and working in tandem to achieve investment success. By joining forces and bringing to bear the vast global resources at Bernstein, I help clients realize true prosperity.
What passions do you pursue outside of work?
Having burned the candle at both ends in my younger years, I learned the hard way that life is all about balance.
While living in NYC, I found a hot yoga studio around the corner from my apartment in 2012. The intense physical practice was just what I needed to get some solace from city life.
My other passion is taking care of the world around us. Our planet is a highly delicate place that should never be taken for granted. I love the outdoors, going hiking, camping, and road-tripping as much as possible, to savor the natural environment we are so lucky to have access to. To this day, I still am amazed and delighted that I can tie my passion for the environment back to Bernstein. Our firm puts so much effort into responsible investing, which is yet another reason I am proud to work here.
