What inspired you to join Bernstein?

After spending four years at my first job out of college, I wanted change. I wanted to be a part of a firm that I could fully identify with. A firm that stood for and practiced the same values that I did. After months of searching and almost leaving the industry, I found Bernstein. This is a firm that governs itself by the highest ethical and legal standards. Bernstein provides independent, research-driven advice that is uniquely aligned with our clients. We offer clients invaluable and incomparable peace of mind. Bernstein is committed to building a culture of diverse perspectives and individuals who can lead us and our clients into the future. This is the world of finance that I knew I wanted to work in, and I’m so thankful to have found it at Bernstein.

How have your values and personal background uniquely positioned you to work with your clients?

At a young age, I started spending my weekends and summers working at a local golf course as a caddy. This experience not only developed my love and passion for the game but also taught me fundamental life lessons that I reflect on to this day. I learned when to talk and when to listen; when to give advice and when not to. I learned that in order to give good advice, I had to truly understand the course, the conditions and the golfer. All of these skills are unanimous with being a good advisor as we must have a deep understanding of investments, the markets and, most importantly, our clients. This is what I bring to the table every day.

Who has been the most influential person in your life?

The most influential people in my life are my dad and grandfather. They showed me what it means to be successful and the hard work, dedication and discipline it requires. They showed me what it means to be loyal, and how you earn trust. Most importantly, they showed me how to be kind and respectful to others, and to always lend a helping hand. All of the amazing life lessons they taught me have influenced the kind, compassionate and respectful way that I treat my clients and the work that I do.
