Bespoke Advice Beyond the Numbers

I’m committed to empowering my clients with the resources and knowledge to navigate the complexities that come with sudden wealth while creating a strong financial foundation to cement their legacy for future generations.

What inspired you to join Bernstein?

Having started my career as a financial advisor at a large brokerage firm, I recognized that Bernstein’s values were more closely aligned with what’s important to me. I’m focused on building a deep, personal relationship with my clients, and I knew that I could do that at Bernstein while having the depth and breadth of resources that my clients expect.

I appreciate having the freedom to bring our innovative solutions and thoughtful and thorough expertise to bear for each of my clients, giving them the level of service typically reserved for a single-family office.

My clients know they can come to me when they need guidance on important decisions—not just financial ones. I aspire to be their consistent “second call” throughout the different phases of their lives, after their spouse, partner, or closest family member.

How have your values and personal background uniquely positioned you to work with your clients?

Before pivoting to financial services, I built a successful career in the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer, fitness consultant and owner of a concierge training company in New York. My approach to that work mirrored the way I now advise clients from a financial perspective: I always seek to understand what motivates people so I can help them achieve success as they define it, on their terms.

One quality that attracted me to finance, which I felt I was missing in my role in fitness, is one of constant change and innovation. I’ve always been a perpetual learner and student of the industry, and my clients know that it’s because of this thirst for new information and fresh ideas that I am relentless in consuming timely information that allows me to be the best steward for them.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

Playing and watching sports is a true passion of mine. I’ve been an athlete my whole life, and these days I lift weights, play tennis and the occasional pickleball when I can, and pick up the lacrosse stick or a softball mitt to play catch with my kids. I do aspire to be able to hold my own on the golf course one day, but that may be a little way off. Having grown up in Kansas, I am also a lifelong fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals, and Kansas Jayhawks, for better or worse (but hopefully more of the former!).

I have always believed in paying it forward as a family, especially in the communities in which we live and work. To that end, I currently volunteer on a number of arts and sustainability projects within the local school system. I’m also on the board of the Women’s Business Development Council, the Westport Young Woman’s League, and I serve on the Westport Public Arts Collection Committee.
