What inspired you to join Bernstein?
I chose a career at Bernstein because I wanted to be challenged. I also wanted to surround myself with diverse and intelligent individuals who had unique backgrounds and skill sets that I could learn from. I’m proud to be at a firm that has individualized training and a leadership team that supports people at every step of their career.
Who has been the most influential person in your life?
My wife, Stephanie, has been the most influential person in my life. We met when we were in middle school and her friendly and bubbly personality drew me in instantly. She is smart, thoughtful, hardworking, and an amazing mother to our daughter, Riley. She inspires me every day to be myself and to always be kind.
What passions do you pursue outside of work?
Music has always been a passion of mine. Although I enjoy many different genres of music, I've always been drawn to country music. When I was little, my dad would always play the country music station in the car on the way to school or baseball games, and it’s a love that has stuck with me ever since. Country music tells a story, is authentic, and creates a sense of community, all of which are attributes I try to carry over into my personal and professional life. When I’m not at work, you can find me outside with a beer in hand listening to country music with my wife and daughter.
