Success Is No Accident

Success, in business and in life, means vastly different things to different people. While objectives may vary, my advisory role remains constant: to help my clients achieve their goals by providing comprehensive and customized financial guidance.

What has inspired you to stay at Bernstein for as long as you have?

As I approach 15 years at Bernstein, it is interesting to reflect upon what has inspired me to stay. The answer is twofold: the firm’s culture and approach toward working with our clients. I enjoy working at a firm where collaboration and partnerships are encouraged and integrity is paramount. As someone who grew up playing team sports, primarily soccer, I have always placed great emphasis on my personal relationships. Therefore, it is incredibly rewarding to work in an environment, like Bernstein, that is oriented around teamwork. Bernstein’s unique structural advantage is another reason for my lengthy tenure. The firm is designed to always act in our clients’ best interest, which is also extremely important, for both the success of my clients as well as my own career path.

What is the most fulfilling aspect of being an advisor to your clients?

I have had the privilege of establishing strong and enduring relationships with my clients and their respective professional teams. My clients are a diverse blend of cross-border families, top executives and successful business owners. I often work with multiple generations of a family, guiding each member on their unique life path and financial journey. My approach requires that I work closely with clients in order to gain an in-depth understanding of their personal circumstances and financial goals. The process of communicating with and advising my clients is thoughtful and continuous, and one that I find to be uniquely fulfilling.

What passions do you pursue outside of work?

I lived in Europe and the Caribbean before moving to the United States. Although I now call South Florida my home, I still enjoy traveling to different parts of the world, particularly with my wife and daughter. In my opinion, there is no better way to learn than by experiencing a different culture, lifestyle or geographic location. When the opportunity presents itself, you will likely find me fishing, diving or engaged in some other activity on or around the ocean. Life takes you down many different paths. My favorite ones lead to the water.
